According to the inscription at the mosque's southwest corner, construction of the building began in 1902-03 and was completed in 1904-05. The mosque has a rectangular-plan prayer hall with three aisles perpendicular to the mihrab. Entry to the mosque is through a door opening at the northwest corner.
