The medrese, the details of which are noted in its endowment deed, was believed to have been demolished. However, this building still stands, together with the cell (library) set within the lecture-hall mosque and reserved for the keeping of books endowed for the teachers and students, just as stated in the endowment deed. The building opposite the mosque escaped researchers' notice because in the 20th century a second storey was added on top of it and its facade was altered.
