The Serdengeçti Mansion was built in 1786 by Ömer Ağa. Ömer Ağa was a descendant of Serdengeçti Ahmet Ağa of Sarımsaklı, who took part in the Ottoman-Persian War of 1730. Although the mansion's construction dates to the late 18th century, it underwent significant renovations in different periods. The building's entrance gate and garden walls were added by Derviş Ağa, a member of the same family. The inscription at the entrance also stands out as an important element that he commissioned.
