Editor's Note
Dimitre Village (its new settlement name is Turan Village) is a village in the Koramaz Valley that was abandoned in 1966. When it became uninhabitable due to rockfalls, it was moved in 1966 to its present location, the flat ground atop the plateau. According to both early-16th-century tax register records, Turan Village was entirely Muslim.
