Because the Church of Yenisis Theotoku bears no inscription, some researchers propose that the building was constructed in 1835. It survives largely intact today and has been privately owned since the early 1950s, used as a residence by private individuals. The church is a rectangular structure extending east-west. Built on a basilical plan, it is arranged with three aisles. At the eastern end of the building, aligned with the aisles, are three semicircular apses.
