Darsiyak Kilisesi I

Editor's Note

The Darsiyak (Taxiarchis) Church I, whose name and exact date of construction cannot be established from written records, was built on a platform created by levelling sloping ground. Its architectural features suggest the church may have been built in the first quarter of the 18th century. However, on the church's north façade, to the east of the entrance door, there is a four-line Greek inscription engraved into cut stone.
