The Tavlusun Namazgâh is an open-air prayer area in the village of Tavlusun in Kayseri province, sound today but no longer in use. It has no inscription. Nothing definite is known of its history; however, it is said to have been built and used in periods when mosques were insufficient, especially when the village population was large, so that the congregation could pray together and funeral prayers could be performed. Built on sloping ground, the namazgâh stands on a level area created by enclosing and filling in a space with a wall set back on the southern side.
