There is no inscription in the mosque to give a date, but it is thought to have been built in the late 19th century. In general it has walls of neatly cut stone and a rectangular plan on a north-south axis. The mosque's single-balconied minaret stands at the southeast corner. On the north facade is a three-bay portico. The mosque's mihrab features decoration of Baroque character. Source: Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality
