Editor's Note
The Palancıoğlu Mansion was built in 1856 by the Karamanlı V. I. Palancıoğlu in Kayseri's Endürlük (Androniki) Village. The mansion's upper floor collapsed over time; a briquette wall was later built up and a sheet-metal roof added on top, and the building is used today as a storehouse. In the lower part of the mansion, the northeast wall collapsed in 2024. Above the entrance door, on the left and right, are two separate inscriptions written in Greek letters. The inscription on the left reads 1856 BPIo 14 (in Latin letters: 1856 VRIo 14), while the one on the right reads Β. Ι. ΠΑΛΑΝΤΖΙ ΟΓΛΟΥ (in Latin letters: V.)
