According to oral history studies, the Haymana Vineyard Namazgah (open-air prayer place) is understood to have been actively used by vineyard workers as late as the mid-19th century. The namazgah and the well beside it were directly tied to Kayseri's viticulture tradition and were an important place in active daily use. As for the Kızlar Kuyusu (Maidens' Well) immediately adjacent to it, there is no definite or written information about its history.
