The Kızıl Köşk Cistern, probably built together with the Kızıl Köşk in the 13th century or else in the 14th century, is a water structure set into the slope southwest of the Kızıl Köşk. If it was built in the 13th century, it certainly belongs to the Anatolian Seljuk period; if it was built in the early 14th century, it corresponds to a time when the Seljuk State was under Ilkhanid domination and entering its final decline.
