Editor's Note
Its inscription reads as follows: Over the passage of time this fountain had fallen to ruin, and travelers passing the Han would complain of their thirst. The high-minded and fortunate vizier Reşid Pasha repaired it; may he live long and prosper. Vahid's pure pen spoke its date: this is a spring of generosity that (...) all the thirsty.
