Editor's Note
It is located 1 km southwest of Gökbahçe village in the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir province, on a rocky slope on the west side of the Kocadere stream. It was first discovered in 1837 by J. R. Steuart. The monument takes its name from the former name of Gökbahçe village. Locals call it the Bahşiş Fountain, even though there is no fountain. Indeed, with its slightly outward-flaring gabled roof and side walls, the monument resembles a three-dimensional structure rather than a single façade when viewed from the side. Like the Maltaş, Değirmen Yeri, and Deliklitaş monuments, it is a shaft monument. The shaft is 4.5 m deep.
