The mound is located in the Yeşilöz neighborhood of the Polatlı district of Ankara province, on parcel 33 of block 163 in the land registry, at the Sıcan Hüyük site, west of the village. The mound was registered as a "1st-Degree Archaeological Site" by decision no. 4991 of the Ankara Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage dated 29 November 2024.
