The designer of the building, which entered service on 31 December 1892, is unknown. It was built with a basement, ground floor, and first floor. The first floor continues to serve as living quarters and the basement as storage. Although the use of Polatlı Station has declined since the high-speed train station was built outside the city center, the station continues to function.
