During the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies carried out for the Ankara-Niğde Motorway Project, a new archaeological site named the Harhar Stream Settlement was identified as a result of the surface survey and archaeological excavations conducted by REGIO Cultural Heritage Management Consultancy. Located within present-day Ankara province on gentle rises overlooking the valley floor, this settlement dates to the Early Bronze Age II period and represents a single-layer settlement with rural characteristics.
