Editor's Note
At the western entrance to the Agora stands a prostyle temple dating to the 4th century BC, set on a podium. After the 5th century AD it was converted into a church. In his work Assos, Prof. Dr. Ümit Serdaroğlu emphasizes that the temple was in all likelihood contemporary with the Agora. 1
