It lies at the Kepet Tepe locality within the boundaries of Kizilkecili village in the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province. Traces of fortification walls built with the dry-stone technique and largely collapsed have been found on the south and east of the hill. It was registered by the Directorate of the Canakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 5715 of 22 October 2019.
