Editor's Note
It is estimated to be about 100 years old and was built by Molla Yusuf (Isbilir). The fountain was constructed from local stone worked into cut stone, using Horasan mortar. Because both its head and its conduits lie deep underground, it runs warm in winter and cold in summer. Oral sources relate that its conduits were dug to a depth of two or three men's heights using scaffolding.
