Popularly known as Yilanli Ilica (Snake Spa) or Dag Ilicasi (Mountain Spa), it lies between the rural neighborhood of Pelitcik-Caltili in the Savastepe district and Kirazkoy in Balikesir. It is a historic healing spring thought to date back to the Roman period and is especially good for rheumatism sufferers. The water, coming straight from the spa floor and its source without any mixing, is warm enough to bathe in. The stone bathhouse is a single-story, rectangular-plan structure built of stone, with a ventilation chimney in its central section.
