It is located within the boundaries of Çoturtepe neighborhood, Sındırgı district, Balıkesir province. Beside the mosque there are a later-built imam's house and a minaret. The mosque, with a hipped roof and walls of plastered rubble stone, has a single-balconied "köşk" minaret on its southeast façade. From the inscription on its north façade it is understood to have been built in AH 1281 (AD 1865). It was registered as a Cultural Asset Requiring Protection (Group 1) by decision no. 1693, dated 28 November 2019, of the Balıkesir Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
