It is located within the boundaries of Çağış village, Bigadiç district, Balıkesir province. The single-fronted fountain, with a pointed arch carried by two small columns, has a two-line Ottoman Turkish inscription in its niche. According to this inscription, the fountain was built in AH 1137 (AD 1725). According to a phrase written on the pointed-arch opening, the fountain was repaired in 1947. It was registered as a Cultural Asset Requiring Protection (Group 2) by decision no. 1926, dated 27 February 2020, of the Balıkesir Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
