A Protestant church in the Buca neighborhood of İzmir. Founded in 1834 as a Protestant Anglican church, it began as an independent Protestant congregation and later took the name Baptist Church. It started as a small chapel-like village church and was renewed in 1865 by a decree issued by Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz.
