Editor's Note
The football ground that served as the pitch of the Garibaldi Club, made up of Levantines of Italian origin, came in later years to be known as the 'People's Ground' where Altınordu played its matches. Today it corresponds to the area around the Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall in Alsancak.
