Once the garden of a house belonging to the English Hadkinson family, this area came to be identified with and known by the name "English Garden" because of its English garden design. Today it has taken the name Zeki Muren Park, and its area has been considerably reduced by construction. The Church of Agia Paraskevi is also located within this area.
