Editor's Note
The first settlement of Yukarikoy, which forms the core of the Narlidere town center, is said to date back 200 to 300 years. In this village, now surrounded by the bustle of big-city life, old two-story houses of stone with wooden tie-beams have been restored to develop tourism. The village also has a museum, an exhibition space, and a culture center where Alevi culture can be experienced.
