It has no construction inscription. Dated by its endowment deed of 11 Jumada al-Awwal AH 1164 / 7 April 1751, the building was commissioned by Haci Mustafa Aga. Haci Mustafa Aga was the son of Kara Osman Aga, who left behind a powerful family that would come to be known as the Karaosmanogullari. The Karaosmanogullari were a notable family that was especially influential in western Anatolia in the 18th century. After his father, Haci Mustafa Aga helped increase the family's influence in the region.
