Editor's Note
The building is covered by a dome resting on an octagonal drum and pendentives. The dome, whose eaves and skirt are surrounded by corbelling, is clad with Turkish-style tiles. It is lit by one window on the east facade and three on the west facade. The mihrab of the mosque is in the form of a simple niche. On the east facade of the mosque, which is built of cut stone and brick, there is a fountain, and on the south facade, under the eaves, there are four birdhouses.
