Editor's Note
Revak Sultan was one of the sheikhs who lived in Manisa during the period of the Saruhanoğulları. His tomb stands to the north of the "Weeping Rock" (Ağlayan Kaya) site, near the Çaybaşı stream. Because it is covered by a pyramidal dome, the tomb recalls kümbet (tomb-tower) architecture. The building's date of construction is unknown. According to its endowment deed of 1371, there was a dervish lodge (tekke) beside the tomb, but the lodge has not survived to the present day.
