Editor's Note
The fountain bears no inscription. Judging from the architecture and decorative features of nearby fountains, we can date it to the first half of the 19th century. It is a single-faced wall fountain in an upright rectangular form. The fountain niche is framed by a pointed arch. The fountain was built abutting the outer wall of the Ürgüp Kaya Hotel and is constructed entirely of cut stone. The fountain is no longer in use today.
