According to its inscription, the first fountain was commissioned by İbrahim Ağa and the second by a man named Mustafa in AH 1300 / AD 1883. The inscription reads: "He is the Everlasting. This is such a fountain, its pure water full of delight. May those who come to drink never suffer any hardship. May one who comes come again, and never say it lacked faithfulness. Intercede for its patron, O Muhammad Mustafa. Patron of good works and charity, the late El-Hac Mükremin son of Mustafa for the second, and İbrahim Ağa son of Mükremin for the first; a fatiha for their souls, year 1300." It consists of two fountains set side by side in the form of iwans. A spout that no longer runs with water stands within the fountain niche.
