According to its inscription, the fountain was built by Feyzi Baba of the Cakir family in AH 1326 / AD 1908. Its inscription reads: 'From the village of the Cakirs, a benevolent lord, whose name was Kahraman, wished to do a good work; he had a garden built and a fountain installed. His aim is still service to the lodge of the saint. Truly Baba Efendi strives only; his name is Feyzi, ponder it plainly. There was much, the jewel of his works ... say, Baba. This garden became most charming; this fountain delightful. Year 1326.' The other inscription: 'Bektas-i Veli, known as the holy water ...' It is a single-faced fountain of vertical rectangular form (Plan: 33).
