According to its inscription, the fountain was built by Feyzullah Baba. No date is given, however; by the abjad reckoning it yields the year AH 1326 / AD 1908. Its inscription reads: 'By the blessed bounty of Haci Bektas-i Veli's aid, would the people of the district ever go thirsty in the two worlds? Our jewel-bearing spring beckons to the thirsty; come, drink the holy water from this Feyzullah Baba Fountain.' The single-faced fountain is free-standing.
