Bektaş Efendi Türbesi

Editor's Note

As understood from its inscription, it belongs to the Ottoman period, having been built in AH 1012 / AD 1603. The monumental-looking structure stands within a walled garden. Its exterior facade is built of cut stone, while the interior walls have white paint applied over plaster. The structure consists of a square-plan entrance and the tomb section containing the cenotaph. The portal of the structure is round-arched and decorated with circular motifs. The inscription is located below the round arch.
