Editor's Note
It stands in the town of Goksu, 45 kilometres from the district centre. Built over the Goksu River, it is a stone bridge three metres wide and about 50 metres long, with two large arches. It is carried by two piers set into the water of the Goksu. The entire bridge is built of cut stone, though toward the top the smooth ashlar gives way to repairs. The bridge deck is paved with stone laid over juniper logs set crosswise. Thought to date from the Seljuk period, it is the largest of the district's stone bridges and has a magnificent appearance. Since a new bridge was built alongside it, the old bridge has been closed to vehicle traffic.
