Editor's Note
The inn, considered part of the Yusuf Ziya Pasha Complex, was built at the Keban Saray locality. For this reason, in naming the inn it is also called the Saray Inn, after the name of the area where it stands. The two-story building, which has not survived to the present day, had rooms on its upper floor where travelers lodged, and on its lower floor a stable for the pack animals. Although the inn's construction date is not precisely known, its existence is attested in Yusuf Ziya Pasha's endowment deed of 1794.
