The establishment, whose history dates back to 1922, operated for a long time as a restaurant and, since 2004, has produced only desserts. Still run by the third-generation Pancar family, Aftat focuses on ekmek kadayıfı (bread pudding) and kabak tatlısı (candied pumpkin).
