Editor's Note
A town of ancient Phrygia, a few miles below Synnada. Though the place itself was of little note, it is famous in history for the great battle fought on its plains in 301 BC, in which the aged Antigonus and his son Demetrius were defeated by the combined forces of Cassander, Lysimachus and Seleucus; Antigonus lost both his conquests and his life.
