Editor's Note
The mosque, located in Solaklı neighbourhood of central Mucur district, is rectangular in form and oriented north-south, and has neither a portico nor a minaret. The building, notable especially for its woodwork, wall paintings, decoration and painting, has a flat wooden ceiling inside and is covered on the outside by a tiled hipped roof sloping in four directions. According to the plaque above the door on the north façade, the mosque was built in the 18th century, and inside, again above the entrance door, there is a painter's inscription reading "Nakkaş Halil 29-10-1939," belonging to the person who made the wall paintings.
