Editor's Note
At the northeast corner of the mosque located in Solaklı neighbourhood of central Mucur district, a rectangular building constructed on a north-south axis, stands a single-balcony minaret added in 1958. According to the marble plaque above the entrance door to the prayer hall, the mosque was built in the 16th century. However, no such date inscription exists on the building itself. The structure, whose first construction was probably in the 16th century, was renewed or underwent a major repair in the 19th century. Wooden material was used in the upper covering and the supporting system.
