Editor's Note
Construction: AH 1220 (AD 1805/1806). According to the information in its inscription, it was built in 1805 by Müslihüddinzade Yakup in the name of his daughter Emine Hanım. Source: Çağlayan Hergül, Turkish Monuments in Dikili and Its Villages, 2008, pages 169-170. It lies on Pazaryeri Street in Çandarlı neighbourhood, on parcel 9 of block 1616, within a 171.11 m² market area. The fountain, also known by local people as the "Şadırvan," was, according to its inscription, built by Emine Hanım in the name of her father Muslihuddinzâde Ya'kub.
