Corycus was an ancient city in Cilicia Trachea in southern Anatolia, today within the Erdemli district of Mersin Province. It stood at the mouth of the valley called Şeytan deresi, on the site now occupied by the town of Kızkalesi. UNESCO added it to its World Heritage Tentative List in 2014.
