Editor's Note
A historic mosque in the centre of Uşak. Built in 1826 by the Kabaklarlı family with a stone ground floor and a wooden upper floor, it served as both a mosque and a medrese. Its upper floor and minaret collapsed in the 1949 earthquake and it was later closed to worship; subsequent restorations sought to return it to its original state.
