Designed by the sculptor Prof. Dr. Tankut Öktem, the monument is 30 metres long and 17 metres high. It is composed of figures gathered into three main groups on a pedestal. The first group features cavalry figures symbolising the liberation of Uşak by Turkish horsemen.
