Editor's Note
Erdmann personally visited the Eğret Inn more than once between 1952 and 1958. The inn stands on a low hill to the south of the village of the same name, on the Afyonkarahisar–Kütahya road, and consists of a single hall; because of the terrain, no courtyard could be built. The structure has a central nave of five bays of round-arched vaults, and its walls are double-shelled fill walls roughly 1.70 m thick.
