Pirtukan (Pertükan) Castle stands on a steep crag at an altitude of 1,529 metres above sea level, near Tekevler (Gunde Nu) village in the Sason district of Batman province. The construction date and period of the castle, built on a north-south axis, are unknown. Today the castle is completely destroyed, with no architectural structure left standing. Only scattered heaps of stone thought to belong to the castle can be observed at the site.
