Editor's Note
The Çorti Church stands on a hilltop commanding the area, near Dörtbölük village in the Sason district of Batman. Built on an east-west axis, the church consists of two sections, a narthex and a naos, though its roof and apse have largely collapsed. Cross motifs made with the incising technique can be seen on the walls of the building and on the surrounding rocks. Built of rubble and cut stone, the structure is today in a state of severe deterioration.
