The Asagi Alicli Village Church is located in the Kozluk district of Batman and today looks like a two-story traditional dwelling. It is understood that the structure took its present form when a house was later built on top of a Late Period (1890-1900) Armenian church. The dense cross motifs and arch traces on the walls show that the building's original function was religious. It is thought that the church was originally a larger, probably two-story place of worship, but is now largely destroyed.
