According to the sources, the Sinan Bey Mosque was built in either 1524 or 1525. The mosque was commissioned by Sinan Bey, who is said to be a descendant of Imam al-Ghazali. The mosque has a rectangular plan and was built with a masonry technique combining dressed cut stone and rubble stone. With these features it is a typical example of the rural mosque architecture of the Ottoman period.
