Editor's Note
It was built by Melih Sultan Sah during the reign of Sultan Kilic Arslan II. The Oresun Han lies on the route between Aksaray and Nevsehir, 21 kilometers from Aksaray. It is notable for its rectangular plan and its sections arranged in the form of a cross. Although the southern part of the han has collapsed, its pendentive dome and architectural details have survived to the present day in impressive condition. It is an important structure in terms of both history and craftsmanship.
